[Hey, I'm hurt.]
(By whom?)
[Everyone and no one in particular. It's the loneliness.]
(Like the old meme said. Everyone is...but know the difference between that and alone.)
[Aren't you lonely? In a way that's too personal?]
(Yes? That's where individuality hurts. We're programed to feel safe within connected groups...)
[But I'm too weird, I'm an outcast.]
(Wonderfully so. That's why we see each other, but there's more to it...)
[I mean, you have free time, you have financial freedom, we're similar, so we can circle-jerk unreadable mana out of each other, isn't that right.]
(That's certainly a factor. But I prefer the term "spiritual resonance", it's more vulnerable than trust and rarer than platinum.)
[Until we part from materialistic reasons.]
(I've parted ways with another once free spirit after witnessing their soul rot before my eyes. They had materialistic problems and they chose to take and haunt instead of to build and bless...)
[Why do I feel like you know I'm right yet don't agree with me on this?]
(Because I sensed your need to disagree with yourself. And I still want to be your audience, it empowers my soul in a strange way.)
[You're just being kind, no?]
(Can't help. It's in my life force. I think you have it despite being a pessimist like me.)
[What if one of us were gone?]
(We already shared something eternal, it doesn't have to be named or be checked upon on a daily or yearly basis.)
(...And we keep each other alive in our heads. In another name and another form, we always live.)
[It's counter-intuitive...]
(But instinctual. It's wishful thinking indeed...we have to remind ourselves.)
[Seems so.]
(I'm tired. You should go to sleep as well.)
[Can't, have an entire universe to cook.]
(I wanna witness it finalize...)
[I know, thanks.]
(Thanks. Goodnight.)
[Goodnight.]
